ABOUT THE CLASS:
Casting Director Christy Dooley will take you though all levels of Soap Opera acting. From one-liners and day players to series regulars and contract roles, Christy will teach you the ins and outs of the process and help you learn how best to pursue a career in daytime television.
ABOUT THE COACH:
In 1987, an opening came up for a new daytime drama about to launch on CBS. Christy jumped at the chance to get involved. She started working with the The Bold and the Beautiful when the show was still in pre-production and just celebrated her 24th year as their Casting Director. Over the years, Christy has given hundreds of actors their start including giving Eva Longoria her first speaking role. She has also enjoyed casting such notable actors as Patrick Duffy, Michael Clarke Duncan, Alley Mills, Antonio Sabato Jr., Charlton Heston, Morgan Fairchild, Mario Lopez and the great Betty White.
